Techniques for effective time management

You’re handling the orders, managing your employees, keeping customers happy, and running to Restaurant Depot three times a week. Time is always in short supply when you’re a pizzeria owner. 

But, with the right time management techniques, you can make the most of every minute and keep your pizza shop running smoothly.

Set clear priorities

Take advantage of slow periods

Use quieter times in your pizzeria to get ahead on tasks. Maybe that's early mornings for paperwork or the lull between lunch and dinner for staff training. By maximizing these slower periods, you'll be better prepared when things get busy.

Learn to say no

It's tempting to say yes to every opportunity or request, but this can quickly overwhelm your schedule. Be selective about what you take on. Focus on activities that align with your pizzeria's goals and politely decline those that don't.

Build in buffer time
